Explore Music City

Nashville is known as music city for many reasons.  Legend has it that the Queen of England dubbed it "Music City" in 1873 when the Fisk Jubilee singers played for her.  Nashville is home to more than 200 recording studios and has the most music industry jobs in the country.

Olympic Qualification

See the top skaters as they compete to qualify for the Olympic Games in Beijing.  Mens, Ladies, Pairs and Ice Dance Champions will be crowned.  Cheer on the best skaters and be a part of the thrill of victory.  Bridgestone Arena is centrally located to be able to enjoy tourist attractions without missing any of the skating!

The Bridgestone Arena is centrally located and in walking distance to many must see attractions.  The Country Music Hall of Fame holds more than 2.5 million artifacts and is certainly worth at least a half day visit.  Get tickets to one of the many great events at the Historic Ryman Auditorium.  Just make sure it doesn't conflict with your favorite skating events!

More must see experiences are further away from downtown Nashville. Rent a car or take an uber and visit the Grand Ole Opry.  Make sure to take a backstage tour.  Elvis fans must take an overnight trip to nearby Memphis and spend a day at Graceland.

There are plenty of nearby luxury and premium hotels to unwind in after a long day sightseeing or sitting in the arena seats.  The JW Marriott has amazing onsite dining, excellent service and comfortable accommodations.  The Westin is known for its Wellness at Westin programs.  From their heavenly bed to the Rhapsody Spa, visitors will be relaxed and rejuvenated.
