Norwegian Exclusive Freestyle Dining
Norwegian Cruise Line is a great option for families with young children. Norwegian is the only cruise company that offers freestyle dining with no prearranged dining times or pre-assigned seating. This is especially important with young children because the freestyle dining gives you the flexibility needed when things don't go as planned or your young child takes longer to transition from one activity to the next and you don't want to be late for your pre-assigned dining time. NCL gives you the flexibility so parents don't have to stress.
Ports of Call
The Caribbean Cruise will depart Miami and visit 4 other ports of call. The 7 night cruise will visit Grand Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel and Norwegian Cruise Line's private island of Harvest Caye. There are a wide variety of activities to do while in port. You can swim with the dolphins, sea lions, or manatees. If you are looking for more adventure you can zip line or parasail over the water. Or you can snorkel or just relax on the beach.
Ship Updates
The Norwegian Breakaway was recently refurbished in 2018. The refurbishment included carpet replacement in all the rooms. After the refurbishment the Breakaway features a new Bliss Ultra Lounge and Syd Norman's Pour House.
Great Amenities On Board the Breakaway
You will never be bored on the Norwegian Breakaway. The Aquapark boasts 5 waterslides, 2 pools, and 4 hot tubs and the kids Aquapark has more slides and splash areas for the little ones. The Sports Complex features a ropes course, basketball court, mini golf and a rock climbing wall. Nightly shows, a casino, and many bars and lounges leave passengers with no lack of things to do. And if you want some time away from your children to relax, they will have fun at the Splash Academy while you do your own thing.
Dining Options
Besides the three main dining rooms and the Garden Cafe buffet there are many other options. You can dine at four other complimentary options including an Irish Pub. Or for a special treat you can sit down at one of 8 specialty restaurants including a raw bar, a sushi restaurant, a seafood restaurant, a steakhouse and French, Italian and Brazilian restaurants. For a sweet treat head to the bakery or order a gelato.
